Team Rules & Regulations Please read the rules that have been established for Walker Valley High School Soccer. MISSED PRACTICES Excused 3 allowed per season Doctors appointment, sickness, family emergency Must give one day notice Unexcused 1st Running 2nd Running and do not start next game 3rd Running and do not start next 2 games 4th Running and sit 1 game out 5th Suspended from team remainder of season PROPER PRACTICE ATTIRE T-shirt with sleeves Soccer shorts Shinguards Socks that cover shinguards Cleats No jewelry Players should always have running shoes available at all practices. MISSED GAMES Excused 2 allowed per season Doctors appointment, sickness, family emergency Must give one day notice Unexcused 1st Running 2nd Running 3rd Suspended from team remainder of season TARDINESS - PRACTICE/GAMES Running Possibly miss start or entire game PROFANITY/VULGARITY 1st - 3rd offense running 4th running and do not start next game YELLOW/RED CARDS Running (coaches discretion) GRADES A minimum of a "C" average must be maintained throughout the entire school year in all courses. If a grade in any course is below a "C" average the student athlete will be suspended from game competition until he/she can document improvement in that course. This may involve study hall with the teacher of the particular class or possibly extra credit work, whatever the individual teacher and I feel appropriate to achieve improvement. OFFICE REFFERALS Running (coach's discretion) ALCOHOL OR DRUG ABUSE 1st Minimum 3 game suspension and running 2nd Suspended for remainder of season
